I wanted to try the more expensive treatment, but the director said I actually didn’t need it — really considerate of them. The results from the Baiyu needle treatment were even better than I had imagined. The clinic manager adjusted the plan according to my budget, which was very understanding. It’s absolutely packed on weekends, so I recommend going during weekdays. While I was in Gangnam, I took the chance to browse around after the treatment. I’ll definitely come back and choose this clinic again next time.

I had never been to a dermatologist in Korea before, so I had no idea where to go. Through a fortunate recommendation, I ended up visiting DM Dermatologist for a consultation. I initially went in just to discuss treatment options, but I ended up getting laser treatment for my rosacea and my son received an aesthetic treatment as well. From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The clinic manager was incredibly kind, and Nick was amazing too. In fact, every single person working at the clinic went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my treatment. This was my very first dermatology treatment, so the laser was definitely a new kind of pain for me. However, if it helps improve my rosacea, I would absolutely be willing to do it again. My son was also very happy with the results of his treatment. I would like to sincerely thank every single member of the team for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent care. You made what could have been a very nerve-racking first experience into a positive one. I truly appreciate everything you did, and I highly recommend DM Dermatologist to anyone looking for outstanding care. I didn’t get this treatment to impress anyone else. I did it for myself and my own happiness.

Date of Visit : 25 May 2026 Treatment : Ultherapy Prime & injections on neck for removing double chin and firming sagging jawline. Result : Immediately after the session, I could (and still can at time of posting) feel tightening of my skin and jawline. Skin is brighter and pores minimised. After 12 days, at the time of posting, I see continuous improvement on firmness, skin tightening and jawline looks "lifted". No major side effect except for a few "bumps" that disappeared after applying a PDRN cream, and soreness all over treated area that is gradually decreasing. I was told to expect to see any impactful result only after 1 month of treatment, and the outcome should last up to 12 months. Also, during the Ultherapy treatment, it can be painful. I had numbing cream applied beforehand. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I have yet to see any improvement to my neck at the time of posting. I was referred to Dr.Shin of DM Dermatology Seoul by a credible and trusted source; a Singaporean colleague of my husband. I am 54+ and this is the first time that I had a medical aesthetics procedure (aside from monthly professional facial sessions). Dr. Shin is conversant in English, and had 2 assistants, Tiffany and a gentleman from South Korea Tourism Board, who assisted as translators. Dr. Shin was professional and did not try to upsell any other procedures. His team of clinic assistants were all helpful and competent. They are experienced in managing international visitor clients like myself (Malaysian living in Singapore) who are in an unfamiliar territory; geographically and medical aesthetics. I stopped by DM Dermatology for a walk-in consult during my last week in Seoul, on a friend's recommendation. I wasn't expecting anyone to take me last-minute, but Hillary (the English-speaking director) got me in to see Dr. Shin that same day, knowing my time in Korea was limited. We addressed melasma, age spots, sun damage, milia, moles, masseter, and neck wrinkles. Through our conversation, I could tell Dr. Shin is passionate about his work and cares about his patients. During my procedures, he meticulously explained every step and split my treatment across two days to ensure my comfort. His office even coordinated post-treatment care with an English-speaking pharmacist a few doors down. His entire team was also very kind and helpful throughout each phase of treatment. Healing was fast — within 3-5 days my skin already looked great. In a city as saturated with dermatologists as Gangnam/Seoul, DM Dermatology and Dr. Shin truly stand out. The music is a bit loud and a bit disturbing. Exit from Exit 3 of Hongdae Station and cross the road. The results are natural and invisible to my friends. The doctor advised me to drink plenty of water after the procedure. The room supervisor is very attentive and always stays by my side to explain the whole process. The service is also very considerate; overall, the experience was quite good.

I was concerned about my double chin and jawline, so I had a consultation and proceeded with V-Olet fat-dissolving injections. During the consultation, the doctor didn’t simply recommend getting a large amount. Instead, he carefully assessed my facial line and treated only the areas that truly needed it. The procedure was quicker than I expected. There was a slight stinging sensation, but it was tolerable. I did experience some swelling afterward, but I’m happy because it feels like the treatment was done precisely in the areas I wanted. The staff were also very kind, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable:)

Great experience overall, we were picked up from our hotel in a private car, the consultation with the doctor was thorough and the treatments were painless, we also got a thorough post-care treatment with a calming masque. This is definitely a more boutique experience which I appreciated compared to the more commercial larger clinics. I will definitely return next time I am in Korea
