Onyoung Plastic Surgery

I had Ultherapy (600 shots) with sedation in June 2026. About two months later, I noticed an asymmetrical indentation/dip in my right cheek area (옆볼패임) that I had not observed before. I contacted the clinic to ask whether this could improve with time and, as requested, sent photos to the manager (실장). I was told that the indentation could not be related to the procedure because the “peak effect” occurs at around 1 month. I found this explanation extremely concerning and inconsistent with the general treatment timeline for Ultherapy (peak effect 3-6 months). Based on their wrong information, my concern was just simply dismissed rather than being taken seriously. I also had Botox done at this clinic, and unfortunately, the result did not meet my expectations compared with Botox treatments I have received at other clinics. I am very disappointed with both the results and the way my concerns were handled afterward. I expect a better follow-up when a patient reports an unexpected change.

I went to Onyoung Plastic Surgery to undergo a treatment and would like to share my real experiences. During the consultation, the doctor wasn’t perfunctory, nor did he blindly follow my ideas. Whenever I mentioned what treatment I wanted, the doctor would carefully analyze my facial features and tell me which options were suitable for me and which were actually unnecessary. The explanations were very straightforward, without using a bunch of technical terms that I wouldn’t understand. Throughout the procedure, the doctor remained highly focused and constantly observed my reactions to adjust his techniques accordingly. Before each step, he would inform me in advance about what I could expect, which helped me stay prepared. The overall pace of the treatment was well-controlled. After the procedure, the supervisor even provided an ice pack for me, which was really thoughtful. Although there wasn’t any immediate effect, I could feel that my condition was gradually improving.

I am so grateful to the team at Onyoo Clinic. The clinic was so accommodating to me as an international patient. Communication was never an issue because they provided multiple English translators who stayed with me throughout. I needed a forehead lift/reduction due to my low brow affecting my vision. My brows are perfectly lifted in a way that looks refreshed, not 'surprised,' my eyelid hooding is gone, and I can finally see clearly without lifting my eyebrows. I don’t look angry at rest anymore, and more strangers are approaching me positively with greetings or compliments when I’m out! I am Canadian and wanted to improve my midface, so I decided to do it during my trip to Korea at Onyoo Clinic. After the consultation, we agreed on an endoscopic SMAS midface lift combined with a small amount of fat grafting under my eyes, as I have quite dark circles. I am very happy with my decision to choose this clinic. I never felt any pressure at any point — I truly felt listened to and well taken care of. Initially, my mom and I were only looking to glow up for maintenance doing the usual hifu, fillers and skin boosters in Seoul. Then, I chanced upon Onyoo which showcased several good results which impressed me as their specialisation is in natural results. I decided to went with surgical as it is a more permanent solution and addressed the problems I had at its roots. 3 weeks prior the procedures, I began inquiring with Onyoo and made an appointment to secure my slot before I arrive at the clinic. The clinic has a warm and welcoming ambience. Kevin was our correspondent and he walked us through every detail. He was in charge of translating all the information from the consultant and doctors. Everyone was very patient and helpful throughout the consultation. They made sure we understood what we are going to get and also highlighted the possible results and did not over promise anything. Clear instructions were provided for pre op preparation. My mom did a endoscopic smas mid face lift and fillers with head doctor, Dr. Ahn. While for myself, I did forehead lift, smas mid face lift, face fat grafting, facial liposuction and buccal fat removal with Dr. Um. Upon waking up, we have a recovery room and you can take as much time as needed to feel ok to head off. Post surgery debrief was detailed and they explained what was done and clear instructions for after care were also given. The clinic also provided dwelling treatments and shampoo service to help in our recovery. Attached photo is before and 9 days post surgery. I’m happy with the results so far; it will continue to improve once the swelling and bruising goes down completely and final results will be in around 3-6months time.

Before my trip to Seoul, I reach out to the clinic with my pictures and concerns via WhatsApp. The clinic staff have an English translator, so my communication with them was in English. Staff was able to address my qns, very helpful and arrange for a consult given my tight schedule. As I know I wanted to go with this clinic, I made a deposit to fix the surgery date for a Friday. Arrived at clinic for consult, it was clean and a very comfortable environment to be in. The staff was very efficient, didn’t wait long to get my pictures taken, CT scan (facial lipo) and consult with advisor. The advisor asked about my concerns, and gave me her recommendations. As I told them I have a budget in mind, she did her best to work within my budget. On day of surgery, everything went by smoothly and a breeze. Meet the doctor for a final review and understand what will be done, etc. I was done with facial lipo and was setting in nicely at their recovery room for about 45 mins or so before I could leave the clinic. They gave clear written post surgery care instructions. Went back next day for a follow up, and again was met with great hospitality. I did a red light therapy to aid recovery as well. The best part I feel is there were minimal bruising and swelling! Can’t wait to see the end result.

Did precise CT facial scan and met with both the doctor and medical assistance to go over possible treatments. Did not feel pressured to buy any treatment at all and it over went 2 hours! The person that stuck out the most was Kevin. Native level english to help translate everything, was very transparent and honest as well with my questions. All around just a cool and great advisor with all my questions and needs I raised. He is a key reason why I'm choosing to proceed with this clinic.

I had an amazing experience at Onyoo! I’ve been wanting to get blepharoplasty to fix my uneven eyelids. I’ve spent months doing my research but most clinics in seoul are factory clinics. Until i came across Onyoo and found out it’s not a factory clinic, I made the reservation right away. The staff are very helpful and sweet, there’s an english translator that helped me throughout the process, i forgot to ask his name but he was very helpful. During the consultation, they didn’t try to up-sale me which i liked so i don’t get unnecessary procedure. After the surgery, they put me in a private room to rest, unlike other clinics in seoul where they put you in a room full of other patients. They also told me to come back for treatments during my healing process. When I got my stitches out I was a bit nervous and one of the staff with the short hair n bangs held my hands for comfort and it made me feel better. I just want to thanks the staff and doctor. I will definitely come back :)

I am really happy with my experience at Onyoo, the clinic is really beautiful and aesthetic, I never had to wait long, the doctors were very knowledgeable and understood my concerns. Unlike many clinics I’ve visited, I had the same doctors for my consultation that actually did my procedures. They explained the procedures well, gave me all of the before and after care and had English translation which was helpful for me as it was my first time having surgery in Korea. Even though I cannot see my full results yet, from what I can see so far the improvement is exactly what I was hoping for. I will come back to Onyoo again~
