Miho Plastic Surgery

It’s been two weeks since I had rhinoplasty. I had been wanting nose surgery for a long time, and I finally decided to go for it while having my eye revision surgery at the same time. I had both procedures done on the same day at MIHO. Since the nose is such an important area, I was very nervous, but after watching Dr. Yoon’s YouTube videos where he explains things in a professional and detailed way, I felt I should at least get a consultation at MIHO. I was especially worried about silicone-related side effects, so I wanted to proceed with a non-implant approach. The consultation coordinator listened carefully to my concerns and helped organize exactly what I wanted, and then Dr. Yoon explained the surgical methods and process in detail based on my needs. For my nose, we used autologous dermis for the bridge and autologous rib cartilage for the tip. The columella was slightly lifted, and my nostrils were reduced. I’ve also suffered from rhinitis since childhood, and after getting a CT scan, turbinate hypertrophy and a deviated septum were confirmed, so I had functional rhinitis surgery done at the same time. With the rib cartilage used for the tip, it feels firm and the height looks very natural and well balanced. At the two-week mark, the level of discomfort has gone down a lot. For the bridge, since autologous dermis was used, it doesn’t allow the same level of shaping or height as silicone, but because it’s my own tissue, it feels much safer and looks naturally elevated, which I’m very satisfied with. The current height at two weeks looks natural, and since absorption is expected to occur over about a year, I’m hoping it stabilizes well without excessive loss of volume. Most of all, the post-op care has been incredibly thorough. The staff carefully answered all of my questions, which helped a lot during recovery. When I visited the clinic for follow-up care, I had some concerns about my nasal bridge. The coordinator immediately arranged a schedule for me to see the doctor, so I didn’t have to worry on my own. Dr. Yoon took the time to explain about what I’m concerned of, which I’m very grateful for.

I had revision rhinoplasty at Miho, and it’s already been a month! At this point, most of the swelling is gone, and the shape is really starting to settle in. I especially love my side profile. Maybe because a customized implant was used, my nose tip no longer looks droopy like before and has a slightly lifted, more refined look. From the front, the bulbousness has slimmed down a lot, so my whole face looks much cleaner now. Even with just a little nose contouring when I do my makeup, the line really shows, which has given me so much more confidence when taking photos or videos!!! People around me keep saying it looks incredibly natural and that they can barely tell I had surgery, which makes me even happier. My surgery was done by Dr. Yoon Seok-ho.

I had incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty here. Since I had nose fillers in the past, I also had the foreign material removed during the surgery. I first learned about Dr. Yoon Seok-ho through MIHO Plastic Surgery’s YouTube channel. After meeting him in person, I felt confident that he was the right doctor for me, so I made my decision and booked the surgery right away. I even set the surgery date immediately. That gave me a lot of trust. Since I decided to do both eyes and nose surgery together, the operation time was quite long. However, because there was a in-house anesthesiologist, I felt reassured and the surgery was done safely. When I woke up, my throat was extremely dry and my lips were very chapped. Since I couldn’t breathe through my nose and had to breathe through my mouth, the first two days were honestly the hardest part. After those two days, it really just felt like a matter of letting time do its work. I had incisional ptosis correction designed to fit my natural eye line, and now people don’t even notice that I had eye surgery. Looking back, I also realize that I barely had any swelling and no bruising at all. thanks to the excellent skills of both doctors. For my nose, I chose a non-implant rhinoplasty without silicone. I had nasolabial angle correction, alar and nasal wall reduction, and droopy tip correction to refine my bulbous nose. Now I’m able to go out freely, the reactions from people around me have been very positive, and I’ve regained a lot of confidence. I’m truly grateful to both doctors and to all the staff members who treated me with such kindness.

I had a bulbous nose with thick skin, but after the surgery, it looks so much cleaner and more defined. My bridge wasn’t particularly low, but because my brow bone is quite prominent, the starting point of my nose looked lower in comparison.
