I finally went to Tei Yi Plastic Surgery and had a few procedures done—here’s my experience. What made the in-person consultation comfortable was that the doctor didn’t just dismiss me because I’m not good at speaking Korean. Instead, he slowed down his speech and had the Chinese-speaking coordinator translate sentence by sentence to ensure I understood before moving on. There were no communication barriers at all. During the procedures, the doctor’s technique was very steady—it was clear he wasn’t a beginner. He communicated thoroughly with me before each step, asking if I felt any discomfort. He also adjusted as needed based on my tolerance throughout the treatment. When I arrived, the receptionist first gave me a glass of water and had me fill out a simple form. Overall, it was okay—I’ll see how the results turn out in the future.
