I went to Madeyoung Plastic Surgery for a procedure and wanted to share my honest experience. The in-person consultation was far better than I had imagined. The doctor first listened to my requirements before suggesting that the desired results could actually be achieved through another approach. Instead of just going along with what I wanted simply because it was expensive, they provided professional advice before letting me make my decision. During the procedure, the director’s technique was extremely steady—clearly someone with plenty of experience. There was complete transparency throughout; they communicated with me at every step and checked in to see if I was feeling uncomfortable. They also adjusted the treatment as needed based on my tolerance levels. After the procedure, I found a convenience store right downstairs, so I bought a bottle of water to rehydrate. Overall, I’m very satisfied and plan to try other procedures there next time.

We booked a consultation with Dr. Park one week in advance from our home country, but when we arrived, we were suddenly told the director wasn’t available. They randomly assigned another doctor. The doctor was fine, but we waited a long time. Then the manager gave a ridiculous quote — almost 4 times higher than other clinics! We were quoted 13,068,000 KRW for my mom’s eye surgery, and after I mentioned my long experience with Korean aesthetic clinics, she awkwardly dropped it to 11,500,000 KRW — still way too much. We came with sincerity, just wanting to compare a few clinics, but felt completely played. Later the English translator even texted saying they could “offer a discount” if we were serious — honestly very unprofessional. The translators were kind, but the clinic’s overall operation and pricing felt manipulative. Definitely not recommended for foreigners.

The first time I visited the clinic (recommended by a friend) they exceeded my expectations. Everyone is very accommodating! No need to worry if you are coming from another country because the staff speaks English too!
