I can’t even begin to describe the great experience I’ve had with Dr Yong, I’ve been researching him for 5 years now and wanting to do the head augmentation surgery with him for a long time and I finally did the surgery 2 weeks ago and everything exceeded my expectations. I had low expectations because I had two previous head surgeries that didn’t go well and left me asymmetrical and uneven… Dr Yong understood my concerns and he made sure everything went perfectly, he evened out all my asymmetries and concerns and augmented my head to a volume I was dreaming to have but didn’t think I can achieve easily. Will highly recommend if this surgery has been something you’ve been wanting to do, he exceeded my expectations and I would look no further if I want more head augmentation surgeries in the future.

I am a returning patient at Jogak, as I have undergone both vertex and occiput augmentations here with Dr. Song so far. As a perfectionist, I researched extensively online to find a place where I could reshape my head, Jogak Clinic was the top of my choice because they got the most before & after cases, and from what I learned and researched, Dr.Song got the highest qualifications as a specialists in aesthetic surgery for head. So I underwent vertex augmentation in 2020. I loved the immediate results right after the surgery. But since it was a head surgery, it took me a long time to examine/observe/feel how the results have held up over the years and whether there have been any side effects caused by the procedure/material/surgery in the long run. Therefore after 6 years with no negative effects I decided to go back to Jogak to do the back of my head with Dr.Song in 2026. Same satisfaction and recovery time was very fast. Before both surgeries, Dr. Song walked me through every detail of the surgical procedure in our appointments, the features of the material, and what to expect during recovery. He also patiently addressed all my other concerns and questions, such as: Will I be able to feel the material when I run, jump or lie down? Will I experience hair loss because the augmentation tightens my scalp, which could harm my hair roots? Dr. Song always answered my questions confidently, and the results matched his words perfectly. When I touch my head, I can barely feel the edges of the implant, and overall my head shape is much closer to the standard ratio. Now I can pull off more hairstyles (like super straight hair and ponytails) effortlessly without extra effort to work on my hair roots for make my head look more rounded. I think it would be great if I, who have completed my head plastic surgery journey with Jogak over the past 6 years could share these experience to let more people know there is a professional clinic which specifically focuses on the field of head bone reshaping. I had forehead surgery with Dr. Yong Tai Song at Jogak Plastic Surgery Clinic about 5 years ago, and I wanted to share my experience now that a significant amount of time has passed. Before the surgery, I was concerned about my forehead shape and also worried about visible scarring. I wanted a natural improvement without obvious signs of surgery, so I spent a lot of time researching and carefully choosing where to go. My procedure involved reshaping the forehead using bone cement, and before the surgery I was also curious about the safety of the material and whether the result would last long-term. Now, 5 years later, I can honestly say I am very satisfied with the outcome. My forehead line looks very natural and blends well with my overall facial structure, and the incision scar is almost impossible to find. Even when I tie my hair back, it is barely noticeable. One thing that impressed me is that the shape has remained very stable over time. Due to the nature of the bone cement, the contour does not change, and even after 5 years, the result looks the same and well-maintained. Before the surgery, I was dissatisfied with my forehead line, and above all, I was very worried about incision scars. I wanted a result that would improve as naturally as possible without looking like I had surgery, so I researched several clinics and made a careful decision. I underwent surgery to correct the shape of my forehead using bone cement, and before the surgery, I was very curious about the safety of the material and its long-term sustainability. Speaking now, five years after the surgery, I am very satisfied with the results. I feel obliged to write this review because I know that this surgery itself is not well-known, understood, or even guaranteed to be safe by many people who have concerns with the shape of their head. I want everyone to know that if you are unhappy with your head shape, there is a feasible, safe procedure you can go for in South Korea (a very safe and well-run country) by the best surgeon in the world for this, Dr Song at Jogak Clinic. This surgery changed my life. I am 24, female, and travelled from the UK to Seoul, South Korea for skull reshaping surgery. I had moderate to severe flatness at the back of my head with some asymmetry and a dent at the crown area. It bothered me for years and was a huge insecurity of mine, and honestly, it made me feel so ugly at times even though many others didn’t notice, but anyway, you need to do things to make yourself happy, so I began looking for a solution. I started my research in 2022. Dr Song’s name appeared many times and it became clear that he is a skilled specialist surgeon for this exact issue. I read countless reviews in forums of people that went to his clinic over the years and had this procedure done with great results, so I reached out to Dr Song for the first time in April 2025. His communications by email were thorough, explanations were technical, and no question was left unanswered, so I felt reassured that I had made the right decision, and I booked to have the procedure in April 2026. I travelled for 18 hours on my own from the UK to Seoul and went to the clinic the next morning. I met Dr Song right away and immediately felt at ease. He was kind, professional, his English is great and he explained everything clearly. Our consultation lasted 30-40 minutes; he examined my head, took some ‘before’ photos and discussed what could realistically be improved. He answered all of my questions honestly. The surgery itself was much easier than I expected. I chose to have IV sedation, so I was relaxed and drowsy throughout. There was no real pain during the procedure, just some pressure and discomfort at times. It took under an hour, and Dr Song inserted 50cc of bone cement into my head and molded it to achieve a more rounded shape. Recovery was also smoother than I imagined. I had no visible swelling or bruising so was able to explore South Korea after the bandage was removed on day 3 (you can cover the bandage with a beanie hat if you want). I returned to the clinic 3 times after the procedure to get the incision site disinfected and examined, and then the last appointment was for removal of the staples 10 days after surgery. Dr Song took the final ‘after’ photos so we could see the comparison. I have attached these pictures to this review. I had some mild discomfort for the first few days, mainly around the lower head / upper neck area because this is where the swelling dropped to, but nothing severe. To be honest, it is quite easy to forget you had surgery after you have the bandage taken off. I’m just over two weeks post-op; I feel incredible. Pain is completely gone now, and I’m genuinely so happy every time I see the new shape of my head. Dr song achieved a much more natural, round looking shape. It has given me a huge boost in confidence and fixed something that bothered me for a long time. I will admit, before leaving the UK, I was worried about the choice I made to have this procedure, but travelling to Seoul to see Dr Song was the best decision I made, and I’m so grateful that I was brave enough to do it. I owe it to Dr Song and his team - they fixed an insecurity that I thought never had a chance to be fixed or only by invasive, scary sounding surgeries. I encourage everyone to come to this clinic and know you will be in good hands. Dr Song is a terrific doctor, an artist, sculptor, and an all-round cool guy who can change your life! Cranial flatness correction is quite well-known; it uses the \"bone cement filling\" method. The before-and-after photos are really impressive, and I’ve already consulted the director for a treatment plan. I haven’t had the procedure yet—I’m planning to do it next year.

The back-of-head augmentation is their signature technique. I accompanied my girlfriend to get it done—honestly, I regret not going sooner. Now the crown sits noticeably higher, and my whole face looks visually more balanced.

The back of my head has been flat since childhood, making it look quite odd. I used to rely on hair transplants and perms to disguise it, but over the past few years my hair has thinned even more.
